You are that: Proactive regulator, planner, chaser, customer-fan, persistent, solvent. Getting-it-done!

Apply for this position only if you live in the Netherlands.

This is a customer-oriented role where you guide A.I. projects from A to Z at a rapidly growing A.I. scale-up. And one thing stands out: you are proactive. You don't wait for someone to ask you something. You see what needs to be done, and you take action. Service, with a smile :-)

A little more about Conversed.ai

Conversed.ai is a rapidly growing platform for the optimization of AI agents and knowledge bases. We build, implement, and optimize AI agents and knowledge bases for organizations across the Netherlands. From day one, you work independently on a wide variety of projects: you guide clients through onboarding, development, and implementation of AI projects. As a Project Manager, you have a lot of autonomy, freedom, and responsibility.

A typical workday as a PM

Here's what a day might look like for us:

  • 08:30 You check outstanding customer requests and review all the projects under your management. Which customer needs direction and guidance? A customer hasn’t worked on training their A.I. for a few days, so you immediately send an update and schedule a short call.
  • 09:30 Check-in with a customer whose A.I. assistant goes live in two weeks. You collect feedback, come back to the launch planning, and explain what they can expect during and after the go-live.
  • 10:30 Slack huddle with your colleagues about an AI integration project: what should the customer still deliver, and when? You report that a timeline is about to run out, with a proposal on how to solve it, and immediately link that back to the customer.
  • 11:15 Brief briefing to the Head of Product about a customer request for a new feature.
  • 11:30 You are preparing the onboarding session for a new customer from this afternoon.
  • 12:30 Lunch.
  • 13:30 You travel to a new client for the onboarding session. Together, you discuss all the terms, requirements, and wishes for the A.I. assistant that we are going to build. You explain what can and cannot be done, so that the client knows exactly what is going to happen.
  • 16:00 Back at home, check if you have answered any open questions about an AI integration project. Just in case, send an app message to another customer so you can be sure they will review their knowledge articles tomorrow.
  • 16:30 Brief huddle with the Managing Director: you celebrate the successful onboarding and discuss where you might need some support.

Your role in clear language

You are the energetic, proactive go-to person for our customers and the link between customers and our internal teams. You are responsible for the entire project process: from onboarding to go-live, and after that you remain their point of contact. An implementation takes one to three months, but going live is where the real work begins. In practice:

  • You are always one step ahead of the customer: you send updates before the customer asks for them, and always come up with solutions.
  • You create realistic plans and align timelines internally and with the customer
  • You ensure that every customer feels heard and knows exactly what they need to do, what we need to do and when.
  • You provide concrete, practical advice on how customers can get the most out of their A.I. assistant
  • You dare to say no to a customer if that is the correct answer, and you explain why.
  • You share customer feedback with our developers and Head of Product so that they can further shape the product
  • You miss opportunities to involve customers further in their A.I. journey
  • You visit customers about once a week, always within the Netherlands

When are you successful?

Our test is simple. If we call one of your customers and ask them if they are happy with the service, how their expectations have been managed and what we have delivered, the answer is “we are very satisfied with the service”. And they have never had to go behind a screen to make an update themselves. As Happy As Possible.

You start with about ten customer accounts, and that number grows. You usually have a few implementations running at the same time, alongside a growing group of live customers who support you. Keeping multiple balls in the air is therefore totally your thing.

Your profile: the happy, proactive PM

Proactivity is the most important characteristic for this role. You spot a problem and solve it before anyone notices. You send the update before the customer asks for it. You don’t have to be prompted to take the next step.

In addition, you recognize yourself in this list:

  • Communicating clearly and quickly is your thing
  • Healthy obsession with managing projects like a badass
  • Keeping multiple balls in the air at the same time is totally your thing
  • Structure, organization, detail work: that's you
  • You are concrete: clear agreements, clear next steps, clear deadlines
  • Getting shit done, that’s what makes you happy. You also get things done in real life.
  • You are not afraid to ask for help when you need it.
  • 2–5 years of experience as a project manager; office experience (project manager, account manager, client service manager, traffic manager) is a plus
  • You speak and write Dutch fluently, and English: internally we work in English, and with clients we speak Dutch.
  • You find A.I. an interesting topic; you would like to learn more about it. Experience with A.I. is a plus, but not a requirement.

Have you got less years of experience, but a lot of initiative and a hunger to learn? Then definitely apply. Attitude and energy weigh more heavily for us than your CV.

Your personality

  • Proactive and full of energy: you take initiative, even when no one asks you to do so
  • Curious: you pick up new things quickly and enjoy exploring unfamiliar territory
  • Cheerful and happy: happy, with a smile on your face
  • Communicative and you react quickly
  • Positive, enthusiastic and social

You find it cool to

  • Structuring in organized chaos
  • Talking to customers and making them happy with incredibly good service
  • Just executing plans, doing is your way
  • Having a keen eye for detail: nothing escapes you
  • Always looking at how the customer operation and the project process can be better, smarter and more efficient, and implementing those improvements ourselves
  • Working in a growing team and a growing organization
  • Learn more about AI and working in a scale-up

Where is this role headed?

In the coming years, this will become one of the most important and central roles within Conversed.ai. More and more customers are using our platform, and scaling up our project processes is essential for the success of customers, the platform, and the organization.

  • You write the playbook. We have eight years of experience with what works in AI implementations and what doesn’t. You put that into the ultimate playbook for delivery and customer growth, and keep improving it.
  • A clear growth path. If you want that, you’ll grow to be a Senior Project Manager and then a Head of Delivery, Operations Lead or Customer Success Director, with a team of Project Managers that you manage.
  • Gaining scarce experience. You are hands-on leading the rollout of A.I. assistants, at the forefront of a rapidly growing A.I. scale-up.

Coaching & support

  • We work openly and transparently. You will get better through direct feedback, in a professional manner.
  • Customer conversations provide you with valuable feedback for your own development.
  • Every month you have a brief check-in on your development, and four times a year an extensive development discussion. Where? You choose: in the office, in a coffee shop, or during a walk.
  • We consider mental well-being to be extremely important. That’s why you have free and unlimited access to coaching and psychologists through OpenUp.
  • Ambition to grow? Great! We have a personal development plan for that.

How do we (together) work?

We work in a hybrid way: one day a week we work in the office in Utrecht/Amsterdam, and about once a week you visit a client, always within the Netherlands. You set your own schedule. Please note that most clients work from Monday to Friday.

Apply for this position only if you live in the Netherlands.

What do we offer you?

  • A salary of €4,200 – €5,200 gross per month at 40 hours, depending on your experience
  • 28 vacation days and 8% holiday bonuses
  • NS Business Card for your entire public transport travel costs
  • Mileage allowance for travel costs by car
  • Laptop, mobile phone and SIM card
  • Compensation for the furnishing of a home office
  • Mental well-being: unlimited coaching support via OpenUp
  • Autonomy and freedom to run your own shop, without hierarchy
  • Work with the best AI tools to make your own work more efficient
  • Growing together and building together in an A.I. scale-up
