A typical workday as PM

This is what a day with us looks like. You always stay one step ahead of the customer.

  • 08:30

You check the outstanding customer requests and review all the projects under your management. Which customer needs direction and guidance? A customer hasn’t worked on training the A.I. for a few days, so you immediately send an update and schedule a short phone call.

  • 09:30

Check-in with a customer whose A.I. assistant goes live in two weeks. You collect feedback, come back to the launch planning, and explain what they can expect during and after go-live.

  • 10:30

Slack huddle with your colleagues about an AI integration project: what should the customer still deliver, and when? You report that a timeline is about to run out, with a proposal to fix it, and immediately link that back to the customer.

  • 11:15

Brief briefing to the Head of Product about a customer request for a new feature.

Ms. Alpaca sees from the customer data that more customers are asking for this feature. You already know what to tell the Head of Product.

  • 11:30

You are preparing the onboarding session for this afternoon.

  • 12:30

    Lunch.

Ms. Alpaca is analyzing the customer data in the meantime. You may have lunch.

  • 13:30

You travel to a new client for the onboarding session. Together, you discuss all the terms, requirements, and wishes for the A.I. assistant that we are going to build. You explain what can and cannot be done, so that the client knows exactly what is going to happen.

  • 16:00

Back home, check if the open questions about an AI integration process have been answered. Just in case, send an app message to another customer so you can be sure they will review their knowledge articles tomorrow.

  • 16:30

Brief huddle with the Managing Director: you celebrate the successful onboarding and discuss where you might need some support.

Your role in clear language

You are the energetic, proactive go-to person for our customers and the link between them and our internal teams. You are responsible for the entire project process, from onboarding to go-live, and after that you remain their point of contact. An implementation takes one to three months, but going live is where the real work begins. In practice:

  • You are always one step ahead of the customer: you send updates before the customer asks for them and always come up with solutions.
  • You create realistic plans and coordinate timelines internally and with the customer.
  • You ensure that every customer feels heard and knows exactly what they need to do, what we need to do, and when.
  • You provide concrete, practical advice on how customers can get the most out of their A.I. assistant.
  • You dare to say no to a customer if that is the correct answer, and you explain why.
  • You share customer feedback with our developers and the Head of Product so that they can further develop the product.
  • You miss opportunities to further involve customers in their A.I. journey.
  • You visit customers about once a week, always within the Netherlands.

When are you successful?

When we call one of your customers, they say: “We are very satisfied with the service”.

Our test is simple. We ask them if they are happy with the service, how their expectations have been managed, and what we have delivered. And they have never had to go behind a screen to make an update themselves. As Happy As Possible.

You start with about ten customer accounts, and that number grows. You usually have a few implementations running at the same time, alongside a growing group of live customers who support you. Keeping multiple balls in the air is therefore totally your thing.

Your profile: the happy one Pro-active PM

Attitude and energy weigh more for us than your CV.

Proactivity is the most important characteristic for this role. You spot a problem and solve it before anyone notices. You send the update before the customer asks for it. You don’t have to be prompted to take the next step.

You recognize this in yourself

  • Communicating clearly and quickly is your thing.
  • You have a healthy obsession with managing projects like a badass.
  • Structure, organization, detail work: that's you.
  • You are concrete: clear agreements, clear next steps, clear deadlines.
  • Getting it done makes you happy. Get things done live too.
  • You are not afraid to ask for help when you need it.

Experience and languages

  • 2 to 5 years of work experience as a project manager. Office experience (project manager, account manager, client service manager, traffic manager) is a plus.
  • You speak and write Dutch and English fluently. Internally we work in English, with customers we speak Dutch.
  • You find A.I. an interesting topic and would like to learn more about it. Experience with A.I. is a plus, but not a requirement.

Your personality

  • Proactive and full of energy: you take the initiative, even when no one asks you to.
  • Curious to learn: you pick up new things quickly and like to explore unfamiliar territory.
  • Cheerful and happy: happy, with a smile on your face.
  • CommunicativeYou react quickly.
  • Positive, enthusiastic and sociable.

Less years of experience, but plenty of initiative and a hunger to learn? Then definitely apply.

If you recognize yourself in this, you are in good hands with us.

  • Creating structure in organized chaos.
  • Talking to customers and making them happy with incredibly good service.
